The function of the guide board is to peel the corrugated core paper that has been rolled into a wave shape from the upper corrugating roller and attach it to the toothed surface of the lower corrugating roller without being thrown away by the centrifugal force of the corrugating roller, so as to guide the position of the corrugated paper when the glue application roller applies the adhesive to the top of the corrugating roller; Then, the corrugated paper coated with adhesive is introduced between the lower corrugated roll and the pressure roll to ensure that it is located in the semi-circular cavity formed by the guide board and the lower corrugated roll, will not stretch arbitrarily and will be correctly bonded with the backing paper under the action of the pressure roll pressing mechanism. The number of pieces of the guide board is equal to the number of grooves of the upper corrugating roller and the sizing roller. In order to ensure that the grooves of the above two rolls will not be damaged, the hardness of the guide board is required to be low; When the machine is running, the guide board and corrugated paper are in contact and friction with each other, so the guide board should be wear-resistant. because the guide board is embedded in the groove of the glue roller, the glue roller will leave a blank groove line without adhesive on the corrugated paper when applying adhesive, which we call "dry stripe". In order to avoid the "dry stripe" too wide and reduce the bonding quality and beauty of corrugated board, the thickness of guide board should be as thin as possible, but too thin is easy to cause the deformation of guide board and affect the quality of corrugated board. Generally speaking, the thickness of the guide board is 1.5 ~ 2.0mm, which is about 1mm narrower than the groove of the upper corrugating roller and the glue roller

the guide board is required to be made into a half moon shape connected by R1, R2 and R33 arcs, and make R1, R2 and R3, where R2 is the concentric radius of the lower corrugating roll. Theoretically, the guide board should be concentric with the lower corrugating roller, but in order to facilitate the smooth entry of the corrugated core paper into the annular cavity, R1 and R2 should be made. At the same time, when the corrugated paper is attached to the lower corrugating roller and moved by the resolution of the board of directors and supervisors of the society for advanced molding technology (samt), it is also required to accept the glue application roller to paste the top of the corrugating roller. In order to prevent the glue application roller from contacting with the lower corrugating roller, the intersection of the connecting lines of the two rollers is made into a concave shape (R3). If the gap is too large, the corrugated paper will jump on the surface of the corrugated roller, which will affect the correct coating of adhesive on the corrugated paper, resulting in poor adhesion, inaccurate corrugated shape or high and low corrugated; If the gap is too small, the corrugated paper is not easy to pass through, and the width of "dry stripes" will be increased due to the coverage of the guide board, which will affect the bonding quality. Generally speaking, the gap between the guide board arc and the lower corrugating roller is 0.75mm for type A, 0.4mm for type B, 0.45mm for type C, and 0.2 ~ 0.3mm for type E

installation, adjustment and maintenance of guide board

whether the installation position of guide board is correct or not greatly affects the service life of guide board and the quality of corrugated board. Before installation, check whether the guide board is deformed, be sure to keep the clamping surfaces on both sides straight, and use the mold to correctly fix the guide board on the clamping device. At the beginning of installation, first insert the upper end of the assembled guide board into the upper corrugating roller, and install the clamping device on the frame to keep the guide board stable, perpendicular to the connecting line of the upper and lower corrugating rollers and pressure rollers, and can move and adjust along the vertical direction of the connecting line of the three rollers. Secondly, adjust the position of the guide board in the groove. It is required that the center line of the upper corrugating roller groove and the glue roller groove and the center line of the guide board are accurately aligned, which does not guarantee that the sensor and other parts of the equipment will not be damaged and straight, so as to avoid being squeezed and crooked in the production process due to the deflection of the guide board, accelerate the wear of the guide board and even collide with the groove wall, or produce quality defects such as high and low corrugations, disordered corrugations, and broken boards, which will damage the forming of the corrugated board. Then adjust the gap and relative position between the guide board and the lower corrugating roller to maintain the correct gap between the circular arc surface of the guide board and the lower corrugating roller. Finally, start the machine, adjust the distance between rollers, carefully observe whether the installation position of the guide board is correct, and fix it after confirmation

it should be noted that the installation and adjustment of the guide board must be carried out after the temperature rise of the corrugating roller, otherwise the upper corrugating roller will be heated and expanded, and the groove size will change, which will easily cause the deformation or wear of the guide board. At present, there are many types of single-sided machines on the market, and the clamping device structure and clamping method of the guide board are also different, but most factories use templates to correctly install the guide board on the clamping device first, so that it can be quickly replaced during cleaning or adjustment

when the guide board is working, there are often adhesives on the two sides. These adhesives will continue to accumulate and harden, which will directly affect the quality of the board. Therefore, timely removal of accumulated adhesive is an important step to maintain the guide board
